Witness our cowboy chefs expertly load New York Strip steaks onto pitchforks, then dunk them in barrels of oil. But that’s not all! Satisfy your cowboy cravings at the barbecue-style buffet with all your favorite fixin’s: baked beans, baked potatoes, garlic toast, coleslaw, vegetables, fresh fruit salad, brownies, cinnamon-sugar donuts, lemonade, and coffee.
Once you’ve grabbed your plate, settle down with your loved ones, and relish the moment with live music playing in the background. Take in the breathtaking view of the Badlands or engage in some fun-filled yard games with your family. Plus, head over to the Tjaden Terrace Bar for a refreshing beer or glass of wine to complete your perfect cowboy cookout.

The Pitchfork Steak Fondue is served under the Tjaden Terrace. That means we experience North Dakota’s weather – from stunning sunsets to sudden showers. Our team makes every effort to serve every meal while keeping our guests and staff safe. Because North Dakota weather can change quickly, dinner is never canceled in advance. If weather impacts your meal, please watch your email for real-time updates from our team regarding delays or changes.
We encourage guests to book early. Tickets may be purchased online, or by calling 1-800-MEDORA-1. If tickets remain available, they may be purchased on the day of the event at the Medora Musical Welcome Center, Ticket Junction, or the front desk of our lodging partners (Rough Riders Hotel, Hotel 1883, Badlands Motel, Elkhorn Quarters, or Medora Campground). Will call tickets may be picked up at any of these locations prior to the meal.

Tickets may not be resold for any amount higher than the face value printed on the ticket. Any person caught scalping tickets will have their ticket voided and charged a 50% restocking fee to place the ticket back into inventory. Scalpers will be banned from future ticket purchases at Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation’s venues.
Ample parking is available at the Tjaden Terrace. Parking is free and available on a first-come basis.
Items lost at the Tjaden Terrace are collected by front-of-house staff and stored at the TRMF business offices. Please notify front of house staff or call 1-800-MEDORA-1.
