Bully Pulpit Golf Course

One of America’s Top 100 Public Golf Courses — Bully Pulpit is chiseled right out of the North Dakota Badlands in a site unlike any in the world. A round here is one you won’t soon forget.

 

At Bully Pulpit Golf Course, you’ll find yourself fully immersed in the Badlands as you meander through meadows and woodlands, skirt along the Little Missouri River, and tee off from one butte to another.

 

 

Event Itinerary

June 4

1:00 | Campers check in at Bully Pulpit

 

2:00 | Skills training: Range work, putting, getting out of trouble and short game work

 

6:15 | Dinner with keynote speaker

 

8:00 | Evening activities including line dancing, basketball, corn hole and ice cream.

June 5

7:30 | Breakfast

 

9:45 | Skills training: Range work, putting, getting out of trouble and short game work Plus course management lesson

 

1:00 | Free play on Bully Pulpit’s front nine

 

4:00 | $1,000 Scholarship putting contest 

 

June 6

‘Rock’ Roger Gullickson

 

Roger boasts an impressive 40-year career as a strength and conditioning coach, serving 23 years in the collegiate realm and 17 years with the NFL. 

During his tenure at the University of Texas, he oversaw golf training.  

Danielle Foster

Danielle grew up learning how to golf alongside her dad at Jack Hoeven Wee Links in Minot, ND. She taught First Tee golf lessons for eight years. She played high school golf and was a state team champion two years in a row. Danielle played four years of NCAA women’s golf at Minot State University where she also earned a B.A. in Accounting. She went on to study law at the University of North Dakota School of Law. She continues to enjoy playing golf competitively in North Dakota Women’s Golf Association events and is a member of Moorhead Country Club.

Danielle is an attorney at Atlas Legal Services, PLLC. She assists businesses in transitioning ownership, primarily into employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs). Danielle is a BIO Girls, Inc. mentor. She also recently completed the North Dakota Women’s Business Center Leadership Program. Danielle says “I have taken a trip to Medora each year for as long as I can remember. My passion for growing girls golf makes me so excited to help bring this premier event to a place so special to me. I look forward to passing on golf skills and life lessons to girls who share in my love for the game of golf.”

Lt. Governor Tammy Miller

A native of Brocket, N.D., Miller served as CEO of Border States, the sixth-largest electrical distributor in North America. Under her leadership, Border States grew from under $500 million in annual sales to nearly $2.5 billion. In April 2020 Miller joined the Govenor’s Office as COO, working with cabinet agencies to enhance citizen focus, drive innovation and improve the delivery of government services. Tammy J. Miller was sworn in as the 39th lieutenant governor of North Dakota on Jan. 3, 2023 where she serves as president of the state Senate and chairs the Capitol Grounds Planning Commission, North Dakota Trade Office, Task Force for Military Issues in North Dakota, Northern Plains Unmanned Systems Authority, Early Childhood Education Council and Clean Sustainable Energy Authority.

Tana Trotter

Tana grew up in Killdeer where she fell in love with exercise through sports and entrepreneurship through watching her dad grow his own business. She took these two passions with her to Bismarck where she attended the University of Mary. After receiving a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science, Tana completed her doctorate in Physical Therapy. While in school, Tana worked as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor in the community. As she completed her clinicals for physical therapy, Tana saw the potential to combine physical therapy and fitness to use exercise as medicine.
