The Conestoga-style covered wagon was used extensively from 1820 to 1840, in the United States and Canada. Large enough to haul up to 5.5 tons, wagons were used to transport people and materials through rugged terrain and were drawn by teams of horses, mules, or oxen.
Nestled along the Little Missouri River, our Conestoga Wagon in the Medora Campground will make your Medora adventure feel like a true pioneer.
The wagon has ample space to set up camp, enjoy dinner around the custom wagon wheel table, and take in a Badlands sunrise.
