Guided Hikes on Point to Point Trails

A bully way to start your morning!

For the best view of Medora, nothing beats the Point to Point Trails. Built directly into the stunning bluffs that overlook the town, the trail offers outdoor lovers a chance to go “over, under, through — but never around,” in the words of Theodore Roosevelt.

Guided hikes leave from the Point to Point Trailhead just off of 401 Six th St, Medora, ND 58645.

A not-too-easy to moderate hike that will give the kids time to explore, reveal great views of Medora, and get the blood going and lungs filled with fresh morning air! Truly a perfect way to start your day in Medora.

NOTE: AFTER HEAVY, LATE NIGHT, OR EARLY MORNING RAIN WHEN PORTIONS OF THE TRAIL BECOME SLICK WITH “GUMBO MUD” THERE WILL BE NO GUIDED HIKE & TRAILS MAY BE CLOSED UNTIL CONDITIONS ARE SAFE – LIKELY LATER IN THE DAY WHEN SUN & WIND HAVE DRIED THE TRAILS.

Be careful of falling rocks on overhangs and steep edges.

Ground is often uneven and loose.

There are many steep edges and inclines. Watch where you are stepping at all times. 

Do not hike in inclement and stormy weather. 

Poisonous snakes can be found on the trail in the form of the Prairie Rattlesnake. 

Be aware of ticks and other small insects when hiking through areas with foliage.
