Located in downtown Medora, the park has a bronze statue of the Marquis de Mores – the founder of Medora – and is dotted with trees and park benches. The statue, donated in 1926 by the Marquis’ sons – is surrounded by a flagstone courtyard, which was the result of a 1938 WPA project – a project you can learn more about at the Chateau de Mores Interpretive Center.
