In the Northern Plains, before the building of the railroads and the arrival of homesteaders, trappers had the greatest influence on taming the wilderness. Trappers and the Canadian fur traders were the first to connect the plains to the world economy.
Come join us for breakfast, lunch, or dinner at Trappers Kettle Restaurant. Enjoy a variety of home-style cuisine in a unique “rustic trapper setting” including omelets, biscuits ‘n gravy, salads, burgers, or steak and salmon along with soup and salad bar.
And stay at the Trapper’s Inn after a day of taming the wilderness yourself.
