We're Big SHOW Offs
The Medora Musical is the rootin' tootinest, boot scootinest show in all the west. There's no other show quite like it. It's an ode to patriotism, to Theodore Roosevelt, and the Spirit of the Badlands. The Musical is Live and Outside all summer long!
The Musical isn't the only entertainment Medora has to offer! The Medora Gospel Brunch makes breakfast sound better than ever and features ALL-NEW music this year! Also, meet the real Theodore Roosevelt in The Teddy Roosevelt Show! Catch any of the live shows playing daily downtown. If you need a laugh you can see Bill Sorensen's Live Laugh Love, or have Colin Zasadny blow your mind with his Magic Through Time Show.
Get some of the best food on the frontier, all found in Medora! Make it dinner and a show, when you stop by for the legendary Pitchfork Steak Fondue before seeing the greatest show in the west.
You will find delectable treats and eats around every corner - a tried and true pizza recipe for the whole family, and homemade ice cream, fudge, and taffy. A cocktail and an elegant meal are waiting for you at Theodore's Dining Room, or step into a local saloon for authentic western fun. Whatever your craving, Medora has something to offer. History Gone Wild
The only thing in Medora that runs deeper than a Badlands gulch is the history of the courageous cowboys that came before. If these buttes could talk, they would relive the stories of shootouts, roundups and the adventures of Badlands cowpunchers.
Today, you can explore Medora's colorful past - from the Marquis de Mores' dream of a cattle empire and naming the town for his wife, to Theodore Roosevelt's bold hunting and ranching life and Harold Schafer's revival of modern Medora. There's even a place here for the nation's rodeo greats, Native American heritage and, if you know where to look, the story of Badlands Bob's Bug Juice Dispensary - no kidding!
There are so many remarkable ways to take in the history of Medora's legends, but you have to come see yourself!
Don't just take our word for it! Check out what Lindsey, the Longnecker family, and others have to share from their Medora experience!
