Outdoor Commons at Elkhorn Quarters
An Integral Part of the Life Skills Center Campus
The Outdoor Commons project is an addition that is necessary to the campus experience for our workers and will provide extra outdoor recreation and socialization areas.
Outdoor Commons Proposal
The Outdoor Commons will be an addition to the Life Skills Center campus that serves as a hub for seasonal employees and volunteers to live, eat, work, and engage together. This development will also provide outdoor entertainment and recreation opportunities just outside of our primary summer employee housing at the Elkhorn Quarters.
This addition will include a soccer field, volleyball courts, outdoor green space as well as future programming for the Life Skills Center.
This will be a space to help summer and student workers exercise, recreate, and be inspired in the Badlands. It fosters healthy living, connections with fellow employees from around the world, and creativity that improves the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation.
