Employees are typically scheduled between 32 and 40 hours per week. In the summer season, employees are encouraged to take advantage of the extra hours opportunities available at the Medora Musical and the Pitchfork Steak Fondue. Overtime is paid after 40 hours.
Employees will be scheduled to work five or six days per week, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Some positions may require employees to work split shifts.
Employee requests for specific shifts or days off will be accommodated when possible, but are not guaranteed and are at the discretion of the scheduler.
While a large number of workers are needed mid-May through mid-September, we also hire staff for fall, winter, and spring seasons.
Hiring preference and bonus opportunities are given to applicants available for 12 weeks or more (spring/summer) or 15 weeks or more (fall/winter). Employees who leave employment before the last day of work listed on their approved employment agreement will be ineligible for an end-of-season bonus and may also be ineligible for rehire. Shortening the length of approved work dates for any reason will not be accepted once employment begins.
