When you step inside this 1880s style 26 room Chateau, you'll step back in time. once the frontier hunting home of the Marquis de Mores and his wife, Medora, the home features original furnishings and the building has been restored to how it would have been in 1885 -- poised to send out an aristocratic hunting party.

You can also visit the Chateau de mores Interpretive Center and take in a number of exhibits about the Marquis' other enterprises!

 A visit to the Chateau de Mores is perfect for the historian in all of us.

All prices include tax. Admission for the Interpretive Center includes tour tickets for the Chateau de Mores site. Allow two hours per visit. Purchase tickets at the front desk of the Chateau de Mores Interpretive Center.

The Marquise de Mores built the Chateau in the 1880s. He then went on to name the little cattle town his Chateau overlooked, "Medora" after his wife Medora Vallombrosa, the Marquise de Mores.
